POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
We can be so scared that we won't venture out socially, preferring the comforts and security of the home. While this is good, one can get so cooped up that he fails to develop as an adult. Getting hurt and developing emotionally from that hurt is part of growing up. The better way is to find someone you can be comfortable with and learn together on common interests. A friendship may develop which can make you both stronger and better able to cope with life.

I have a total of 17 today. You may want to look them all over. It's a pleasure to seek friends with haikus. Thank you for appreciating.
