Haiku - P(L) Anned Obsolescence Poem by Jonathan ROBIN

Haiku - P(L) Anned Obsolescence

automobiles take toll
route riot traffic symbols
status cymbals crash

so many crocodiles
mile crunchers riding roughshod
over pedestrians

slithering uncurbed
from high street banks upstream tide
headstrong class actions

Uptown, downtown clash
cross-country, all directions,
stop/go, nightly glow

in bright reflections
mirrored by wary cats eyes
grid map geo-t[r]opic,

spreading pollution
upon Time's predatory
river road spinning wheels

on track appointment
completes number plate phase
p(l) anned obsolescence

15 July 2021 haiku version of Automobiles Spectra Parody

Automobiles take toll on the streets,
decoded as route rout riot symbols trafficking influence,
clash crash of status cymbals -
so many crocodiles riding roughshod over pedestrian crossings,
slithering uncurbed from the high street banks
upstream tide marks into the flow of traffic waves.

Uptown, downtown, cross-country, all directions,
stop/go, they glow in their own night reflections
mirrored on some grid map geo-t[r]opic,
spreading pollution upon the predatory river road of time,
spinning wheels on track for appointment which completes
numbered plate phase, until each meets
planned obsolescence...
