Halt The Salt Poem by Herbert Nehrlich

Halt The Salt

She sprinkled sodium chloride
onto cave moss (some got inside) .
Soon skin and passage were ablaze,
came to the rescue Diastase.
Brought to a quick and pleasant halt
all moisture mopping using salt.
A pact was formed (the stinger stung)
to use a soothing, willing tongue.
An altruist at heart I will
be on alert for any spill.
Be it a droplet or a cup
just call me sweet, I'll mop it up.

From oil and water? I slurp and gulp A miracle man he just made salt and where he goes I do not know But of cave worms yes, I just love their glow for down the lane and by the stream I watch at night for their glorious gleam… I know they’re special and such a treat… and if I’m soft and still and all it dark, I’m rewarded by their many sprinkles.. tis such a thrill Arachnocampa luminosa stimulates organs to flames of rosa
