Hand To Keep Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Hand To Keep

I loved bright morning
It was early and moon was still shining
She had fading silver light
But I felt somehow very right

Whole of night you were with me
Making totally worry free
Reminding me of bond and love
I sank and almost believed

Your coolness gave me peace
As you made sweet embrace
Turned around waist
And made to feel best

Eyes made flash
To rush
Through and through
You were magnificent and true

I do not know
How far I shall go
But you have made my journey
As if with total blessings from an almighty

Hold me forever
Desert me never
I shall break down
And that shall not be fault my own

I closed eyes when you bent
I felt the gesture as heavenly sent
I was again going to sleep
But held your hand to keep
