Hands That Have Fell Poem by Linda I. Weischedel

Hands That Have Fell

Now I look at you who once stood very tall,
against my personal advice you went ahead and you took the fall,
now I am asking you, was any of it worth it all?

Now did you really think that they would care,
did you honestly think that these so-called friends would be there?

Now did you think the temptation would ever go away,
you know as well as I the price you are going to have to pay,
oh and trust me there isn't anything that you can say,
your just gonna have to deal with this addiction anyway,
I knew this was going to happen,
I have already been counting down the hours just waiting for
this here day.

To err is human this I know,
the hands that once had power to put-up a fight,
no longer have anything to show,
you gave into your one and only demon on that specific night, you only failed yourself, and to be everything of polite,
it's a crying shame but nothing in your life shall ever, ever be right!
