past life
get in the way
of your future happiness
can't never
be happy
totting all that
old baggage around
can't never be happy
until you lay
all of them
old burdens down
don't let your
past life
get in the way
of your
future happiness
too many tears
still falling down
from your eyes
you've got to stop
wearing that mask
you've got to
drop your disguise
don't let your
past life
get in the way!
