Happiness Friends Poem by me poet yeps poet

I have all along been sitting and glossing
under an apple tree all my life
what happiness can be

a simple comparison of combined incidents
some happy some sorry

from the milk of both
if you can but extract
the elixir of happiness
‘twill a successful story be
of happiness

‘tis poetry alone
as it lends happiness to me
but let me be happy
so end here my story

you say what you want to
but be happy not guilty

one must simply be just happy
just smile will all ye
