Time to find and discover life,
More appreciated than not.
Is a time one finds to stop.
And leave behind shallow reasons,
To prioritize impressions to make.
With this done to perceive,
Things to have...
Achieves long lasting happiness.
When happiness to ultimately have it,
Comes from a feeling of being blessed.
Knowing only God delivers this.
Done to do this at God's best.

And objects to be man-made.
Impressive although not free of defects.
Has an escalating price to pay.
With an expense and cost,
Never to satisfy yet stays that way.
With many remaining in disbelief.
As they continue to lie to themselves.
While paying for their sorrows.
And repeated visits with grief.
To pray.
For more things to have and not relief.
Instead of praying faithfully,
That God knows...
What it is we all need.
If only we remain grateful to say it!
And so many,
Are not yet there to be consciously aware.
Of just how basic God is to please!
