Happy Person Poem by Michael Smith

Happy Person

Rating: 5.0

I have a heavy decision to make.
So I sleep on it...
But when I sleep it attacks me.
When I eat it makes my stomach curl.
So I dropp it.
But soon after it's said & done.
It's hurts to know I gave up.
Gave up on a decision so important.
A decision to love or not to love.
And without love.
I realize.
That I can no longer be.
Be the 'so called happy person.'
I want to be.
So I sleep on it.
And now I wake up with another heavy decision to make.
This time I'm choosing to love.
Cause with love I'm a happy person.
No longer lonely nor sad.
Cause love is worth the trouble.
Worth going the distance.
Especially with you.
So now I no longer have a heavy decision to make.
Cause I made up my mind.
Feelin' like a new person...
For the very first time.
There's nothing like it.
Now I'm not confused.
Confused about what I should do.
This decision has made me better.
Now I'm a happy person with you.
