Hate & Love Poem by Janelle Morehart

Hate & Love

You poor child
Hah
Your father may hurt
And he may destroy
All because of you
Because he blames you
Your father can hate his own child
Yes your father hates you
But in truth, In heart
Where does hate come from?
Tell me little one
Where does it go?
You cannot achieve hate
Unless you had love
Without love you cannot hate
Without hate you cannot love
Such is the life's black and white
Good and bad
Right and wrong
Yin and Yang
Yes your father hates you
Yes Im sure that's true
But though he may hate you
He loves you too
