Let Me Die - Poem by Janelle Morehart
Misguided
Misunderstood
Wanted to be forgotten
Wanting to forget
Just go away
And dont come back
Horrors of my nightmares
Ghosts of my past
Just leave me alone
Alone to die
Slowly softly
Inside myself
Leave me to the void that grows within my soul
I hate you
I hate me
I hate everything everywhere
I just wanna be free
I just wanna hide
In the darkness of my mind
Sadness lost in my soul
Leave me at peace
Just let me go
So that i may die softly, quietly
Inside never to be alive
Just let me die
