Hats Off To Leprous! Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Almost all of us
are hagiographers
while judging poems.
But my friend Leprous
has offered his nice remarks
to my poem on the Versifier.
In my dreams and elsewhere
When I am going,
his words flash in my mind,
making me laugh aloud
and people look at me askance.
I try to recall short maxims
for replacing his words but fail.
