Have An Eye Of Faith

Have an eye of faith
And a soul to swift respond
To a Lord Who died for us
And makes the weakened strong
Who takes the greatest burden
When we cast on Him our cares
And removes its heaviness completely
Just as if it were never there

The eye of faith sees clearly
From where once was sin's blindedness
To focus on the things of God
From the realm of His Righteousness
For He Who lives within me now
Has become my... Enabler
To triumph in victory over sin
In testimony to His Word

Praise God for that great Physician
Who knows our soul's disease
The accumulation of numerous sins
Should bring us to our knees
May repentance be our lot
To see sin as never before
And ourselves as enemies of God
And seek Christ as the Door

To enter into a sacred place
Where sin has met its match
And know the forgiveness of the Lord
From which Satan can never snatch
And see sin for just what it is
A bondage keeper galore
And then praise God from new eyes of faith
That you'll have forevermore!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
