Have You Ever Noticed Poem by David Harris

Have you ever noticed
the higher the station
the bigger the fool
that resides there
and when it comes
to decision making
they can not see
further than their nose
or their greedy pockets
they line with others dough.
Have you ever noticed
most on the bottom rung
know exactly what
has to be done,
and then they get promotion
and forget everything
as they become in a higher station
and take up a fool’s position
as they stretch out
to become number one.
