Upon the stage is an invisible loss that only one is feeling
intensely right now, for his sister, two years younger has
been taken by a once upon a stranger, not listening nor going
away, just being there.
A total stranger for eight years, calling itself cancer, never
being a friend, draining the life from her, insistently refus-
ing to leave her be, now family grieving at her loss, knowing
that she put up quite a fight for eight years.
Never giving up, finding hope along the way, needing for an
inner strength to not leave her alone, wanting to cry, tears
silently hiding, not wanting her loved ones to see how cancer
was devastating her much more than those who loved her knew.
Now having left this earth on her final sunsetical shore, in
heaven with our Lord, leaving such an empty void within every-
one's heart, wondering how to cope with the loss of her beauty,
her smile, her loving, caring, compassionate heart and soul.
Now remembered and reflected always in every memory that
shines bittersweetly in her loved ones minds, having now
only the memories of when she was with them to console
yet hold onto the sadness of her being gone.
