He Felt Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

He Felt

Rating: 5.0

The eminent man had
The glorious journey
Throughout his life,
He had achieved success everywhere
With flying colours,
He was extremely pleased for this,
At the end he stood
In front of his beautiful mirror
And saw his reflection there with great enthusiasm,
But then he sincerely felt his image rebuked him mercilessly saying,
"You have achieved nothing significant in life,
As your inner realm is absolutely vacant and empty; "
The famous man stood in disbelief.

The measure of a man is not what he achieved in life. It is not material wealth or honors you have garnered. It is how we dealt humanity; helping others who are in need and the promotion of peace and unity. A nice poem with a meaningful message.
