He Said Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

He Said

Rating: 5.0

He said

While news is ugly
Of the Baghdad bombing
By US. And killing
In airport; Iraqis, Irani
We spoke of the ice
High, on the mountain top
Melting in rays of sun
And river, stream,
Clear, pristine,
Ice-cold and in running…

"We set the whisky there
In glass, and kept it
For moments, then drank."

"Such a life is absent
For a king, president! "

What can know Trump who
Is child of pimp and a john?

He and men of his kind
Are devils and blind
To kindness in the life
As are most of mullahs…

We spoke of love, peace
In nature, on the peaks
Where Inti rules with the
Old Apus of Incas…!

He talked of his friend:
"We set the whisky there
In glass, and kept it
For moments, then drank."

"Such a life is absent
For kings and presidents…"

We rather think of the
Beauties in our life.
