He Wrote About Me

He wrote about me I write about Him
Praise God for sin's Emancipator
The One who took God's wrathfor my sin
Is both my Saviour and my Creator
He paid it all...He paid all
No cost was left for me
Though my wages for sin was death
"Paid in full" was stamped there clearly

Christ's blood sufficient as the sacrifice
For innocence was His lot
Born of a virgin in Bethlehem
For that I praise Him a lot
He didn't have to die that way
But it was my sin that took Him there
Our burden bearing Lord Jesus Christ
Who choose a Cross to bare

Hallelujah's still fill those heart's
Who have such a Redeemer
For hope overflows with thankfulness
Who now know sins Forgiver
The presence of God's Holy Spirit
As my daily reference
O for the joy to give up sinning
And to enjoy the fruit of repentance

Tell me that story again of Jesus
For I love to hear His name
Every soul who has ever trusted Him
Are never the same again
My chief delight is to do His will
And to do it most willingly
For the love of God has captured my heart
I write it as a testimony
