Hearsay(After Lord Byron) Poem by Perdita Young (Hanna Wang)

Hearsay(After Lord Byron)

Rating: 5.0

A Prologue Poem

To giggle and make giggle,
I scribble the hasty lines;
Oh, life should be lived simple,
And lived with the cups of wine.
Mind not the rain or drizzle,
The weather will soon be fine.
'Tis light-heart'd talk, meant to ripple,
No foe is allowed here to nibble.

Hearsay & Anecdotes
(Paper Swordsmen III)

A mistress of Poetic Cottage plain,
Just eloped with a man, named Virtue Bean,
She left her clumsy Wood, a long-time swain,
As quick as an act'd play before the screen.
A decent lady seemed she, free from stain,
She has the pure look as the fresh fine rain.

Hasty lines are amazingly scribbled to giggle and make giggle. An amazing, brilliant and excellent poem is wisely composed...10
