Heart Of A Young Boy Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Heart Of A Young Boy

From the fronds of a tree
In the secluded grove of my
Village by the side of a stream
I hang upside down and
Swing with hands clearing
The air as if in a sea I do swim

People watched me from a distance
And clapped and danced in sheer joy
Some of them got scared and shouted to
Come down as I was no more a young boy
