Hee Haw Poem by Ima Ryma

Hee Haw

Hee Haw debuted in '69.
'Kornfield Kounty' came to T.V.
In a rural song and joke design
For tuners in to hear and see.
The barn band was the Buckaroos.
Lulu's Truckstop, the greasy spoon,
Charlie delivered the KORN news,
Moonshiners' jokin', sippin' moon.
Love chat at the Haystack, as far
As the viewing audience knew.
Roy on banjo, Buck on guitar.
Pickin' and Grinnin' they would do.

It's said that Elvis loved the show.
Hee Haw Honeys called him a beau.
