Hello To The New Year
H-ello to the new year,
E-nding the old drops of dew;
L-et the next lovely mornings
E-ndorse dawns that are
N-ew.
R-elax first while you're waiting,
E-arly twenty-first of December;
Y-ou must make a resolution,
E-agerly promise or
S-wear.
B-egin the fresh days with love,
L-et war and strife disappear;
A-dieu to the past events,
S-ay hello to the new year.
