Her Fault Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Her Fault

Rating: 5.0

She won't admit that she knocked down the orchid
It was going to bloom again
But the piece that broken; had the buds
I had a sadness and told her so
I told her it was her that broke it off
As she watched me getting the bins inside the backyard
Like she did when I was fifteen
Mind you, I didn't tell I was going to do it
I left when she was talking to my brother
I thought the conversation would be long
But she doesn't have any remorse
On destroying the plant
After I took care of it for two years
Waiting for it to blossom again
I guess I could put the piece in a pot with soil and water
Maybe, it will bloom after all
