Hesitation Poem by David Harris

Hesitation

Rating: 5.0

Many doors lie open before us
to enter as we may,
but we hesitate and wait outside.
Sometimes in our hesitation,
we lose that which we seek
and our dreams disappear
melting away before our eyes.
It was an illusion left behind
by our real dreams that were there.
Had we been quicker
we would have caught our dream,
instead we only caught despair.
