I will go to thee
To make myself cool
I have love that is pure
Up to its brim my heart full

I will fly towards
The confused cloud
That is mocking at me
From far and howling aloud

I will shine with
That distant thunder
Threatening me with its
Flame committing a blunder

To that high wind
I must send a message
With its might and anger
Don't let my lover live in a cage

To that bird I will
Catch to give my care
In this treacherous clime
It brings to me love from her

O rain! ! Go away! !
Her name is in my fate
Behind the hills you hide
Let me meet her before it is late
