Hibernating In The Wintertime Poem by Dorsey Baker

Hibernating In The Wintertime

Winter comes
Birds fly south
You have got
A bitter taste
In your mouth
For a long time
You have been
Hybernating
So afraid
To come out

You are too blind
To see yourself
Because
You are
Always looking
At everybody else

Now you are
Fully grown
You can live your life
You can
Make it on your own!
