Hitch hiking to Hispanic hot Basque—
Spain's north coast, in sun and sand to bask,
A man met his muse there
Basking bare, flesh and flair,
Hugging her was a blouse known as basque,
He envying the blouse
That bare her youth could house,
His passion spilling o'er hard to mask.

Basque1: One is the coastal region in Spain; another, a tight-fitting low cut bodice worn by women of poor repute; and finally ‘bask', these three homophones often confuse, on which this limerick seems to muse.
