Hold me closer
my feelings are lonely,
I once was a lover
now I am here only;
feelings do go away
into the night and dark,
loneliness will meet a new day
in its morning embark.

Yesterday I had all
with my youthful heart
now there seems to be a fall
in its moment's start
give me something to hold on
life is always walking
dreams of youth might be gone
but my heart's still talking

Hold me to my dreams
like a river, they are going
life has wandered in its deems
without me ever knowing
Hold me closer
my feelings are lonely,
I once was a lover
now I am here only

Oh like a river
everything moves away
but love can still deliver
and meet its coming day
you and I are lonely now
but shall we meet again
dreams inside somehow
never completely will fain
