Hollow
Building without foundation
courts ruination
action without rumination
saps elation
a wall and window
stand erect hollow
but what do i know
thinking winds blow
doors and floors
hit me to the core
I'll never leave this place
Anything life throws at
me I can face
believing
thinking
clinging
to you and you
Excellent write! ! ! When all fails, true love shall not.
Rather "hollow" … but not really as there is something deep which we would " hallow." In my other comment I misspelled the title. But maybe because the poem is not hollow at all!
For a poem titled "hallow" there seems to be much in the heart of of this poem!
A very inspiring and meaningful poem. Life's hardships can be conquered with because of the 'you' in our life. Wonderful poem, M.J.
