Hollower Poem by Ima Ryma

Hollower

Rating: 5.0

Wars of the world have come and gone.
But always there is war somewhere.
Humanity lets wars go on,
Cuz mad leaders are always there
To goad the humankind into
Just one more war to end all wars.
Mad leaders know this isn't true,
All a matter of power scores.
And now some mad leaders do tell
That nuclear war is in play,
To send the whole world into hell.
And it could happen any day.

How hollow is humanity?
Enough that soon we'll cease to be.

I'm afraid this poem is a correct prelude of terrible things to come.
