Homeward Bound - Poem by pearl scott

I have lived long and now I am homeward bound,
leaving my dreams behind me and all the ties that bind me
I enter a new dimension beyond our comprehension
It beckons me with promise
for I have seen the shining
beyond the silver lining
that calls us back to God,
