Hope Poem by Eila Mahima Jaipaul

Hope

Rating: 5.0

deconstructing temples
did nothing to reconcile sorrow
in dreaming about days.

that place will always stand,
even if eternal blankets cover, and
theres no way to see past the scars.

I can't run far enough to get away from all of you...
and rain will fall again over our skin
from clouds touched overhead
