Hopeful Poem by Mpheng Magome

Hopeful

Rating: 4.7

One day I will be beautiful,
My scars will fall away with the last of my tears.
My eyes will twinkle,
My smile will be the sun.
My face will be an object of beauty,
My heart will be pure.
And one day
Somebody will Love me

I don't think there has ever been a more appropriate title for a piece of prose. GW62
