Horrible Day - Poem by sakshi mathur

i knew it was going to be a horrible day
wen my mother came in the room and said
' oh dear! oh dear! there's a curfew today
a black day today!

no school today
nothing to do
nowhere to go
a horrible day today

i thought it was a bad dream
not good to have an ice-cream
i had a sort of pain
and was waiting for the rain

just think of those who were out
must have had a terrible shout
just think of my plight
no one, no where to fight

i was thinking of a jingle
because i had no one to mingle
i was thinking about my friends
and their stupid kind of trends

when my mother came
said the same
it was a curfew today
a balck day today! ! ! ! ! !
