How can i not be thankful?
Though this life can be painful
At my feet is the earth i walk on
On it is all that i own
Surrounding me the air
With all living things to share
In the sky is the sun
Guiding me to sleep and to have fun
Then there is you
I am never alone
I never really knew
My house is a home
Till you taught me to be faithful
How can i not be thankful?

You know being thankful to the creators creation makes us humble and this humility makes us to live life meaningful and worthwhile. Yes with love and care of each members the walls of house become shields of home that caters and nurtures beautiful life. Beautiful poem.
