How I Wish For A Glass Of Wine
Ah, how I wish
For a glass of wine
And a friend with whom
To sit and dine.
Life is transient
It can’t nurture us for long,
It shall not be long
Before I am gone.
So let me absorb
The colours of life,
Until the holy fire
Lights up the pyre

A great poem with lovely flow and rhyme. I think that, in a way, it goes perfectly with my poem: '' A Glass Of Wine '' - they share the same theme, stanzas and free flow. I think they complement each other very well.
