How much is mine?
Should such a question
ever be asked?
Should such a division
even be made at all?
To ask such a question
makes it almost impossible
for me to grasp
the paradox which
is the only possible answer:
That everything is mine
precisely because everything is His.
This small yet significant spiritual write goes into MyPoemList.
this reminds me of a quote from jack kerouac: everything belong to me because i am poor
And I forgot to say I loved the unexpected ending, beautiful.
Nature has intended to make things abundant and free, man has invented the concept of me and mine. A lovely poem.
A deep mystical write beautifully expressed... but somehow, does it not contradict itself. If everything is His, then how can anything be mine, if I give to Him everything I have, how can anything remain. Of course the counter argument goes that God so loves his people that he give everything to them, whatever He has and whatever He receives, are given back to His people. Quite deep if one reflects on this poem....
A great devotional write reiterating complete dedication and devotion with Him leading to to dissolution of self in Him. Thanks for sharing a piece of mystical philosophy.10 points.
