Hues On The Horizon Poem by Bharati Nayak

Hues On The Horizon

Rating: 5.0

My gaze was focused on the horizon
Which was changing colours
The golden sun was dipping behind the mountain
The sky was scattered with many hues
The blue sky was turning orange, red and yellow
Birds were flying homewards
The blue hills were growing darker
When the sun hid behind the horizon, night had fallen.
Stars started twinkling
Moon rose from east
Like horizon, my mood wears
different colours at different times
In happy mood
my face shines bright
In dark gloomy moments
it looks shadowed and pale
When filled with enthusiasm,
It looks thrilled.
My mood like horizon
Is a mix of colours inside a prism.
