Huge Are The Leaps Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Huge Are The Leaps

Huge are the leaps.
Leaving preferences,
To keep them...
Gone.
No longer to anticipate,
Kept beliefs to arise...
From Sunrise to appear.
Until the next morning dawns.

Huge are the leaps,
Erasing away completely...
That 'normalcy' to grieve.
For it to return.
Hoping to ease one's breath,
To breathe again with relief.
Since on the horizon,
Witnessed to accept or not.
Everything on this Earth we live,
Is changing nonstop.

And no one should be left to expect,
Themselves to be exceptions.
Or perceive it to believe,
That which has created this reality...
Has a preference for skin color.
Texture of hair.
Blue, brown, green or hazel eyes.
Going through the process.
When it is God that decides,
What to do to choose to make improvements!

Nothing anyone possesses to obsess it,
The Earth ultimately sits...
As benefactor to claim ownership!
Without preferences to have at all.

Everything must change.
There is not one thing,
That remains to stay unchanged.
Even those picked,
To sit in positions of leadership.
Will eventually in their minds,
Get the message.

Truth and its reality,
To believe can be deceived...
Many will be left,
Shocked and in total disbelief.
How huge the leaps,
Reality and truth takes...
With an awakening of those,
From a deluded hypnotizing deep sleep!
