Hungry stomach

What do we do for the poor?
show the exit door
no respect when they approach
instead only insult when reaching us

is it the curse?
or painful course
I think it is both
and remains till the death

the survival is the only option
no bond, no attachment, and no relation
the life must go on
whether with a hungry stomach
or dreams full of becoming rich

he has nothing to lose
or chose
any path
under the tree or in open, he has to breath

only a few take birth with the spoon in the mouth
the poor have no means to feed the mouth
he may only look at the sky
and dare not to ask why

we have no answer
yet try harder
for the alleviation of the poverty
along with the prayers to an almighty
