Imagine hurting a man
When God sent him to help all that he can,
To heal, and to take care of her
So, that more sadness on her does not occur.
God tells him what road to take
Which is very difficult for many to make,
His desire is to see and to heal and to see she is happy & loved
And never cursed, belittled, mentally abused or shoved.
The only thing that he asks of her in return is loyalty
As he treats her with respect like royalty,
And he proudly always puts her first
Willingly and happily and never pushed or coerced.
All that he needs and wishes and hopes in return
Is that he never by her gets burn,
He asks her to only respect and to value him
Not to never make him feel sad, and grim.
He proudly introduces her to his friends and takes her to church
So, she can find what she had lost in life's search,
And he brags about her to his family and all
Hoping the love for her in their eyes they too had saw.
That was me long ago and once upon a time
When unto me she committed an emotional crime,
I was used, lied too cheated on and hurt in every degree
She didn't care, even though God had sent me.
