I Am Afraid Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I Am Afraid

Who remembers all?
When thousands of insects and people are killed!
On road or in accident
We curse the death and lament

The real defenders of border are soldiers
Paid alright but brave people who offer
To the services of motherland
A kind of patriotic trend

Killing innocents is no religion
Any intruder in holy land deserves execution
By soldiers bullet or by cross fire
The terrorists can't be called the good player

The religion fanatics are no soldiers
Either for religion or as God's messenger
They are blinded by those who want only bloodshed
A religion founded on heaps of dead

Why should you die aimlessly?
If there is no direction from almighty
Will any religion preach killing of innocents?
I am afraid any one will have an idea to present
