I Am Going To Write Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

In the sweltering heat
I sit down to write a
Poem on love and care;
Sitting by the window
With hot wind beating me
I want to lay my heart bare;

I want to write about
The time when we had
Met by the swollen river;
A cool wind was beating
Your face and drenched
In rain you did shiver;

I will write must about
The moment you got touch
Of love in your heart;
You did feel a little shy
And clung to me to wipe
Your face with my shirt;

A seed of love did sprout
To grow tall; it is standing
Strong till this day;
I am going to write all
About happy time we spent
Sitting in the heat of May.
