I Am Happy Today!
I am happy today!
I started by doing the difficult tasks first
I refused the temptation of doing the easy tasks
Now I have peace of mind
Surely my work looks easier
Happiness and peace is mine!
I am happy today!
I started by letting go what I cannot control
I refused the temptation of struggling to control
Now I have peace with environment
Surely the environment is not against me
Happiness and peace is mine!
I am happy today!
I started by not worrying what others are thinking
I refused the temptation of being right with all
Now I have peace with neighbours
Surely my neighbours are a blessing
Happiness and peace is mine!
I am happy today!
I started by looking outside the window
I refused the temptation of just starting to work
Now I have peace with the trees
Surely grow for me to appreciate
Happiness and peace is mine!
I am happy today!
I started by not forgetting to pray
I refused the temptation of being too busy early
Now I have peace with God
Surely God loves me
Happiness and peace is mine!
It is good to be happy and keep happy! ! I will happily read this poem again just to be happy!
