Look at me in your great kindness.
In mercy turn towards me.
Boundless is your kindness.
I am in pain,
terribly afflicted.
Come down to me
with your saving hands.
Revive my lowly heart.
Help me to sing
a song of praise
to glorify your name
even in dire distress.
Amen! There is a striking familiarity when I read this, really hits home 10++
pain is overt, desperate attempt to come out of it to praise the lord, magnificent work perfect 10, thanks
You can feel the saddness within these lines. it makes you want to go give someone a hug...(((((hug)))) nicely penned. Annette

A desperate cry from a broken heart, sufficiently written. A few words says it all. But there is a sense that deep down below the pain there seems to be a trust. A knowing, a faith, that the Great Kindness will come to your aid because you have experienced its boundless bounty. Does some part of us know that we are held no matter what happens? Thank you Tony for this reflective poem.
