I Am My Father's Son Poem by Randy McClave

I Am My Father's Son

Rating: 4.9

I Am My Father's Son
That is who I am,
Though I am, still his child
I am still a man.
Living my life from his
Sharing his own belief,
Like the seed from his tree
To become like the leaf.
I am walking in the steps
That my father placed,
And as I grow and I mold
I am my father's face.
Walking with my child
As the night does come,
I look at him, he replies to me,
'I Am My Father's Son......'

Hello Randy, pleased to 'meet' you. I've been away for awhile and haven't had the pleasure of reading your work before. Very well done. Life has a way of coming round full circle, doesn't it... again, well done and a pleasure to read. Warmest regards, CJ Heck
