I Am Now Gone Poem by Randy McClave

I Am Now Gone

Rating: 4.5

You see me
But, I am not there,
You also hear me
But, now I don't care.
I thought about you once before
But, now I don't care anymore.

I felt you
But, you weren't in my arms,
I dreamt about you
With all of your beauty and charms.
To me I believed you were my inspiration
Now, you have become my frustration.

I have spoke
And of course you never listened,
You never spoke
A muse you were christened.
Because of you I did write
You once brought me pleasure and delight.

I still remember
From what I once had written,
And you still remember
About how I once with you were smitten.
When you now wake up with a yawn
Look around yourself, I am now gone.

A poem with a tinge of sadness. It must be the outcome of betrayal in love. The expressions are so heart touching.
