Ocean of my memory
Turbulent and violent
I bob at its surface
Feeling a force buoyant
The thread, the strands
The beginning the ends
The moments, the spur
Clarity and the blur
The ecstasy the fun
The limp the run
The vacuum that once
Filled the urn
Endless debates
To be or not
To do or to leave
The tasks those were rough
The decisions that seemed tough
So much to be done
For life, you never know
May not offer a chance
Another one
So I took them all
And finished ….
To the end
Straightened the road
With my tools
Wherever I saw a silly bend
Larger than life uncertainty
Then morphed into
A well planned destiny
Then one day down the street
I saw her smiling, at me
Bringing in oodles,
Much awaited glee…
Radiance of her face
Unmistakable grace
Lady luck, a date with her
My actions had struck
I am the destiny
I am the fun
I am the decision and indecision
The exasperation and coercion
I am the bridge between them
We all build bridges. To connect to and travel. From one mind to another, we build invisable passage. Our thoughts from one mind to another reach each other. Our communication back and forth travels on the bridges we create. We are builders that way. We construct converstion. I love bridges. DC
Even to open our third eye...it is our destiny's decision...if one thinks it is I or myself...then it is Maya or illusion...not the real....reality is the supreme Being in whose hands our destiny held.....kindly read my 'Vidhi'...thanks for sharing
An extremely clever metaphor. i love the beginning sucking me in, for some reason it made me think of a vast ocean and you a object deserted just left to bob, with the surfaced waves passing an moving freely idk thats just what popped in my head for some reason as always i loved your poem, they always have clarity in making the reader visualize all different kinds of things vast to our imaginations

Symbolic 'pillar' of strength. Very nicely done. All the more now that you're a family man....! Cheers. Subroto
