I asked the rich-
What are you proud of?
What you called humanity
is now all lost in you.
What will you get
sucking the poor?
Dead is your humanity
So is conscience and honesty.

इंसानो से पूछा मैंने
कि किस बात का तुमको
घमण्ड हो गया है
कहते थे जिसको इंसानियत तुम
वो ज़मीर अब तुम्हारा कहा खो गया है
तमाशा बनाकर गरीबो का तुमको
मिलेगा क्या ये बताओ ज़रा तुम
तेरी इंसानियत अब कहाँ मर गयी है
और तेरा ईमान कहाँ सो गया है।
