I Bleed Unseen Tears Poem by Matthew Holloway

I Bleed Unseen Tears

Rating: 5.0

I may appear ugly
The unattractive, strange
That awkward soul
Yet my heart is kind
Deserving of love
Yet kindness denied
Breaks me daily
I bleed unseen tears
And wish only to be known
Called to and loved
To be held once more
However unattractive I may be
Form never reflects the soul
The body may fail
Yet the mind prevails

Amen! Brother! We are all exposed by the light! But that is where our greatest hope lies!

A poignant little poem! Appreciated the poet's ways of depicting the theme in its absolute brevity...5 stars
